How to Fix ‘Your response to the invitation cannot be sent’?
Method 1: Turn OFF And ON calendar accounts.

Click on settings

Select on Accounts & Passwords option

Go to the mail and see the Calendar now. If not calendar available there then click on iCloud.

Turn off the Calendar, now notice an information ‘turning off calendar’.

Later, Turn on.
After this steps done a restart and check whether the error gets fixed. If not then proceed with the below steps.
Method 2: Reinstall the transfer account:
Removed your transfer account and then added it again, It fixed all your problems! Run on iOS 11.2 on iPhone 6s. It took me only a few minutes to fix the obstacle.
Method 3: Reinstall the calendar
Delete a calendar
- Go to View –> Show Calendar List.
- Choose Edit –> Delete.Note : Some calendars will not delete
Reinstall a Calendar
- New –> New Calendar Group.
- Go to View –> Show Calendar List.
Note: To add On the Mac, Goto File –> New Calendar –> On My Mac.
